Infosys is Hiring! | Engineering KBE – CAD/CAE Developer/Consultant

Infosys is looking for passionate and skilled CAD/CAE Developers/Consultants to join our Engineering KBE team. If you have strong expertise in engineering design tools, automation, and application development — this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and automate solutions using leading CAD/CAE applications (CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Hypermesh, Ansys, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering application incidents and ensure SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with global IT teams and follow enterprise standards/policies.
• Improve user experience by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Support engineering design applications, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science , Information Systems , or related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience in CAD/CAE tools and automation.
• Expertise in customization using CAA, NX Open, CATScript, TCL-TK, PCL, Ansys APDL .
• Programming skills in VB.Net, C#, C++, .NET (WPF) .
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office VBA .
• Familiarity with Agile methodology .
• Exposure to cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, GCP ).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering CAD/CAE applications.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and mechanical design standards.
• Knowledge of CAD data migration processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software/hardware/network layers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
