CAD CAM Operator

Job responsibilities

• Design and Drafting: Create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software like PRO-E and CREO etc. based on engineering specifications.
• CAM Programming: Convert designs into machine-readable instructions, such as creating toolpaths for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, to manufacture parts.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design intent and resolve design issues.
• Quality Assurance: Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, and verify that designs adhere to all company and industry standards.
• Documentation: Produce detailed documentation, including specifications for materials and procedures, for manufacturing and construction purposes.
• File Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital files for all design projects.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and train other operators as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD/CAM software like PRO-E and CREO etc.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand concepts like orthographic and isometric views.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of specific software, like MicroStation, may be required for some roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
