CAD Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative CAD Designer to join our design and engineering team. This role focuses on developing precise technical drawings and 3D visualizations that support product development, manufacturing, and production processes. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems through design, has strong technical skills, and brings an interest in how products are made—particularly the machinery and manufacturing processes that bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and refine CAD drawings, layouts, and 3D models to support product and equipment design.
  • Develop accurate technical documentation and specifications for use in production.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure designs are both innovative and practical for manufacturing.
  • Adjust and improve designs based on testing, feedback, or material/machinery considerations.
  • Maintain organized CAD files, version control, and design records.
  • Stay current on industry design tools, manufacturing methods, and technology advancements.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in CAD design within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent).
  • Ability to visualize and communicate 3D concepts from 2D drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machinery, or production workflows is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of materials and production methods (metal, plastics, or paper-based products).
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams, operators, or machine technicians.
  • Interest in manufacturing technology, process improvement, and how machinery functions.

Why Join Us?
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your CAD skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment where design meets production. If you’re passionate about turning concepts into real-world solutions and have a curiosity for how machinery and manufacturing processes work, we’d love to hear from you.
