Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and motivated 3D Modeler with Blender expertise to design boat deckings. You’ll use your 3D modeling skills to create detailed, practical designs for deck fittings, working closely with our team to bring ideas to life. If you love designing and have a knack for visualizing 3D spaces, this is a great opportunity to work on unique marine projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models of boat deckings in Blender, including layouts for teak, synthetic, or composite materials.
• Design custom deck fittings to match specific boat shapes and client preferences.
• Use Blender to visualize and test deck designs for fit and functionality.
• Collaborate with our team to refine designs based on feedback and practical needs.
• Export models for manufacturing, 3D printing, or client presentations.
• Incorporate basic design principles to ensure aesthetics and usability in your models.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Blender for 3D modeling, including skills in flattening, mesh creation, texturing, and rendering.
• Ability to create clean, accurate models for real-world applications.
• Enthusiasm for basic design, with an eye for balance, proportion, and functionality.
• Comfortable working with measurements and adapting designs to fit specific boat dimensions.
• No formal degree or professional background required – we value skills and passion!
• Basic understanding of materials (e.g., wood, composites) is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modeling complex surfaces or curved designs in Blender.
• Familiarity with boats or marine environments is helpful but not required.
• A portfolio or sample work showcasing your 3D modeling projects in Blender.
