Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week (with potential OT)

Position Overview
We are seeking CAD Designers / Drafters I to support design and drafting activities for oil & gas projects. This role focuses on producing and maintaining high-quality 2D CAD drawings such as PFDs, P&IDs, One-Lines, General Layouts, Plans, Sections, and Details, while collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform rough product designs into accurate working documents using AutoCAD (required), Microstation, and/or SmartSketch
• Prepare dimensional and non-dimensional drawings, including layouts, details, one-lines, isometrics, schedules, and data sheets
• Revise drawings per instructions from engineers and project stakeholders
• Support document control, database administration, and progress reporting
• Coordinate and communicate design issues between company and contractor engineering teams
• Keep supervisors updated on progress, deviations, and potential execution concerns
• Assist with internal engineering initiatives or Global Practice requests

Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in a drafting or CAD-related role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required (Microstation/SmartSketch experience a plus)
• Associate’s degree in Drafting or related technical field preferred (not required)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines under heavy workloads
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English in technical/business contexts

• Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented drafter with strong AutoCAD skills, experience producing multi-discipline 2D drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and project teams in a fast-paced oil & gas environment.
