Duties

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of metal fabrication components using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion360.
• Create comprehensive schematics and system designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to refine designs for manufacturability and structural integrity.
• Prepare precise fabrication drawings and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams.
• Assist in the visualization of projects through 3D modeling and 2D animation techniques to facilitate client presentations and internal reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion360
• Strong understanding of schematics, system design principles, and drafting standards within the metal fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with 2D animation or visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
