CAD Designer/Drafter

Overview
We are seeking a CAD Designer/Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing CAD software to create detailed drawings and schematics. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the design process.

The CAD Designer will be working on residential and commercial projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and skills required can include but may not be limited to:

• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of site/roadway layout, topographic surveys, utility, profiling, grading, earthwork calculations, and erosion control plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.
• Ability to review and complete redlines.
• Possess problem solving and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs.

Requirements:

• A two-year associates degree is preferred
• Entry level -10 years AutoCAD job related experience
• Experience in commercial, residential or mixed-use site and subdivision
• Experience with SWM, Grading, ESC & Utility design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time
