Position - CAD Electrical Engineer - Irrigation background

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D electrical drawings using AutoCAD based on design and site requirements
• Work closely with electrical engineers, site teams, and other disciplines for coordinated outputs
• Draft layouts for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and other low voltage systems
• Create shop drawings and as-built drawings in line with project specifications and construction changes
• Ensure drawings comply with local codes, authority regulations, and quality standards
• Support construction teams with updated drawings and revisions as needed on-site
• Assist in quantity take-offs and documentation related to electrical installations
• Deliver accurate outputs under tight deadlines and fast-paced project environments

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in electrical drafting for construction projects
• Proven background in Gulf country-based MEP or construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, AutoCAD standards, and UAE regulations

Must be currently in the UAE and available to join immediately or currently serving Notice period.

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Drafting or a related field
• Good communication and coordination skills with project and site teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
