Employment Type: Full-time | Reporting to: Engineering/Delivery Manager
Role Summary: Own technical delivery quality. Set standards, lead the 2D/3D team, coordinate with client CAD leads, and ensure fabrication-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define sheet list, detailing approach, standards, and QA gates per project.
• Lead technical RFIs; resolve detailing ambiguities and constructability issues.
• Review and approve drawing/model packages prior to submission.
• Mentor detailers/modelers and enforce consistency across all packages.

Required Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Architecture/Industrial Design (or equivalent).
• Strong fabrication documentation literacy.

Experience

• 7–12 years fabrication/shop drawing delivery; 2+ years leadership.

Core Skills

• DWG standards mastery; Rhino literacy preferred; strong review/QA mindset.
• Decision making, client communication, production planning.

KPIs

• First-pass acceptance %, QA defect rate, rework hours %.

Technical

• Walk through a “from approved concept → fabrication package” workflow.
• Explain how you’d handle conflicting dimensions or unclear model geometry.

Practical Test Task (90–120 min)

Input: Sample design pack (model snapshots + notes + client standards excerpt)
Output: (1) sheet list + milestone plan, (2) standards checklist (layers, callouts, revision rules), (3) 5 RFIs drafted
Scoring: practicality, completeness, clarity, fabrication readiness thinking.
