What You'll Do-
Support engineers by transforming engineering ideas to high quality CAD models

Create detail assembly 3D models and 2D drawings for large equipment

Generate part drawings for machine shops and equipment building vendors following engineering standards

Vigilantly track redlines and modifications, ensuring the accuracy of digital twins for all equipment and machinery

Use CAD models to create detail BOMs for equipment to ensure both BOM and CAD models are up to date

Maintain teamwide PDM/PLM system

Sustain macros and templates to improve team workflow and efficiency

Help prepare machinery maintenance and service manuals and spare part kits
What You'll Bring-
Over 3 years or 1000 hours of proven expertise using CAD software preferably SolidWorks, within a professional context

Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting, particularly for intricate, large-scale machinery

Familiarity with GD&T principles, reading, interpreting, and applying

Accomplished in generating comprehensive technical drawings and documentation for automated equipment

Well-versed in utilizing PDM/PLM systems to streamline processes

Proficient in popular MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Exposure to, and hands-on experience with diverse test systems and instruments, production machinery, and an array of industrial sensors and equipment preferred e.g., pogo-pins, pressure transducers, temperature controllers, current meters

Familiarity with reading electrical and fluid schematics preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan software packages

Associate’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent proven experience
