CAD Operator

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our furniture design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed CAD drawings for a wide range of furniture products. Your technical expertise will play a vital role in translating design concepts into precise specifications, ensuring that our products are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed CAD drawings for various furniture designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to understand project requirements and integrate feedback.
• Maintain and organize an up-to-date library of CAD files and documentation for easy access and reference.
• Prepare presentation materials and prototypes for client meetings and product showcases.
• Ensure all designs comply with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Assist in developing product specifications, materials lists, and cost estimates.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Previous experience in furniture design or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, precise drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of woodworking and furniture production processes.
• Familiarity with materials and finishes used in furniture design.
