CAD & Planning Software Trainer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic CAD & Planning Software Trainer to deliver professional training programs for students, engineers, architects, designers, and construction professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in CAD and planning software applications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify technical concepts for learners of different skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and online training sessions for CAD and planning software.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, practical exercises, and assessments.
• Train participants on industry-standard software such as:
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Civil 3D
• Primavera P6
• MS Project
• Navisworks
• SketchUp (preferred)
• Develop structured training plans for beginner to advanced levels.
• Provide hands-on project-based learning and technical guidance.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest software versions and industry practices.
• Support students with troubleshooting and technical queries.
• Maintain attendance records and training reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of practical industry experience.
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
• Strong command of CAD and planning software tools.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to train both individuals and groups.
• Certifications in Autodesk or Primavera software are an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of BIM workflows and project coordination.
• Experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Ability to create customized training modules.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
