We have been manufacturing innovative harvesting and installation equipment for sod growers for over 30 years, while also offering a plastics netting line and OEM Parts. Our company focuses on developing innovative, high performing automated sod harvesting equipment for the agricultural sector. Magnum ENP is seeking a knowledgeable CAD Technician/Designer with experience using Autodesk CAD and Autodesk Inventor to support development through the creation of accurate, high quality 3D models, drawings, and documentation. This role plays a direct part in improving product performance, manufacturabiity, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and drawings for new parts, weldments, and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect engineering changes and production needs.
• Assist engineering in creation of fabrication and assembly processes.
• Develop and maintain product literature, including owner’s manuals, parts manuals, and service bulletins.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, R&D, engineering, and the technical service department to ensure designs meet real world requirements.
• Create and update product bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing assemblies.
• Support the documentation and design process throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in occasional hands-on work on the manufacturing floor to better understand assembly processes and verify design intent.

Qualifications:

Required

• Basic Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light physical tasks on the plant floor
• Computer profiency with Excel, Word, and general office software
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience with Autodesk CAD and AutodeskInventor
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Prefferred

• Experience in machine design involving hydraulics, electrical systems, and structural components
• Knowledge of sheet metal design practices
• 5 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk AutoCAD
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
