Bucyrus​ Equipment, better known as Magnum ENP, is a family-owned team with a tradition of success in the turf business. We have been manufacturing innovative harvesting and installation equipment for sod growers for over 30 years, while also offering a plastics netting line and OEM Parts. Our company focuses on developing innovative, high performing automated sod harvesting equipment for the agricultural sector. Our mission is to transform how farmers work by building smarter, more efficient machines that operate in real world field conditions. Magnum ENP is seeking a knowledgeable CAD Technician/Designer with experience using Autodesk CAD and Autodesk Inventor to support development through the creation of accurate, high quality 3D models, drawings, and documentation. This role plays a direct part in improving product performance, manufacturabiity, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed 3D models and drawings for new parts, weldments, and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect engineering changes and production needs.
  • Assist engineering in creation of fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Develop and maintain product literature, including owner’s manuals, parts manuals, and service bulletins.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, R&D, engineering, and the technical service department to ensure designs meet real world requirements.
  • Create and update product bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing assemblies.
  • Support the documentation and design process throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in occasional hands-on work on the manufacturing floor to better understand assembly processes and verify design intent.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Basic Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light physical tasks on the plant floor
  • Computer profiency with Excel, Word, and general office software
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience with Autodesk CAD and AutodeskInventor
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Prefferred

  • Experience in machine design involving hydraulics, electrical systems, and structural components
  • Knowledge of sheet metal design practices
  • 5 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk AutoCAD
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes including welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
