Essential Functions:

Retrieves case box with model and prescription from cart.

Utilizes designated system and software to scan impressions and models.

Removes and reviews prescriptions (RX) from case box.
-
Checks model against prescriptions including bite, margin lines, impression, color, and shade.

May consult with supervisor on questions or complex issues.
-
Removes die from model to be scanned.
-
May use red pencil to draw margin lines on die if margins are not clear.
-
May use hammer to remove model from metal articulator.
-
Places plate with model into dental scanning equipment to start the scanning process.

Scans full model, die, and separates upper and lower model in order to scan the arch.

Monitors scanning process on computer screen.
-
Removes model and die from plate.
-
Reviews model on computer monitor to prepare for design.
-
Once scan is complete, affixes sticker to paperwork to designate completion.

Places completed cases on designated area to move to the next process.

Articulates and trims digital models.
-
Performs quality control checks on scans using CAD/CAM program.

Forwards accurately completed scans to design process.
-
Assists with designing model work and/or various products using designated software.

Uploads files as required
-
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
-
Basic dental training.
-
Prior dental experience or background, a plus.
-
Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus.
Pay Range: $18.00/hr
