CAE Engineer

Experience needed (Construction & Mining / Heavy equipment):

· The responsibility involves working closely with global engineering teams in understanding the activities, understand the product function and its application ability to corelate with the physics of the application and mathematically model, ability to demonstrate the core knowledge and help in building competence.

· Acting as main point of contact for multiple work packages, estimate work effort and break down design items into manageable work packages, documentation of knowledge learnt.

· Propose efficient methods in performing simulations, should have good knowledge / exposure on Applied Mechanics, Strength of materials.

· Should have adequate knowledge of manufacturing (welding, castings/forgings, materials, and heat treatment) and assembly processes. Knowledge of welding methods and fabrication methods.

· Experience and knowledge in FEM simulatios. More precisely in linear and non-linear structural mechanics, static and dynamic (e.g. modal analysis) analysis.

· Experience in FE calculations and of welded assemblies and castings.

· Able to define and execute vibration analysis, has knowledge on time domain and frequency domain analysis.

· Understands & knows the ALTAIR Hyperworks platform or similar CAE software/s and the ability to Choose relevant elements and formulate the required physics.

· Adequate knowledge of relevant regional and International standards/regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
