Job Description:


The primary goal of FORD OTOSAN NVH CAE Team is to develop sound performance, quietness and vibration characteristics of vehicles. Also develop a customer focused product in prementioned areas.


The responsibilities of the required position are;


• Execution vehicle NVH development at virtual / analytical phases through the program by;

• Conducting full vehicle analyses via VSIGN, NVH Console and NASTRAN using road and powertrain loads in various scenarios

• Problem solving on vehicle level NVH performance; create engineering solutions and prepare design changes for body, chassis, suspension and powertrain components

• Optimize component and subsystem performance for overall vehicle level customer expectations


The common responsibilities of the positions:

• Assessing necessary system level and component level vehicle design changes (objective and CAE evaluations) in order to comply with Vehicle Attributes targets, brand DNA and customer expectations.

• Supporting all related teams and design changes in order to solve attribute related issues within all Ford Otosan programs.

• Contributing to preparation of attribute related Development Statements and ASR’s in line with GPDS.

• Finalizing cost and attribute optimized designs together with PMTs and ensure that the development phases run in line with Ford methodologies.

• Following up new technologies and methods that automotive industry is working on and suggesting the suitable ones to adapt to this position.


Requirements

• Preferably, 1-2 years of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering studies) in Engineering Environments

• Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

• Software experience in CAE tools (NASTRAN knowledge will be considered as an asset)

• Basic vehicle knowledge

• Basic vibration theory, machine elements and dynamics knowledge

• Open for learning new methodologies

• Good team-worker
