Cafe Attendant

INTRODUCTION TO ROLE

The Café Attendant is pivotal in working directly with our guests and food and beverage teams.
You provide a welcoming and pleasant experience for our guests, clearly communicating, answering questions and taking guest orders.

• Greeting and serving customers
• Preparing and serving beverages and light snacks

• Handling cash and credit card transactions
• Restocking supplies as needed

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH: The Café Attendant reports to the Café Supervisor and works closely with the café team as well as well as with the guests.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks
• Positive attitude and team spirit

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Includes lifting, standing, sitting, listening, reading, bending, etc. The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and you may sometimes be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same enthusiasm and dedication as scheduled with your regular job duties.
