Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The Café Manager will ensure excellent customer service, maintain high food and beverage quality standards, manage staff performance, and drive sales while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability WITH BARISTA SKILLS
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee day-to-day café operations.
- Ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise café staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage employee attendance and discipline when required.
Customer Service
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and place orders when needed.
- Manage inventory and reduce waste.
- Control food, beverage, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales and prepare operational reports.
- Manage cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Work toward achieving sales targets and profitability goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve efficiency.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Develop local partnerships and community engagement initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to improve customer traffic and brand awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management in UAE
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and sales reporting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
