· Supervises the associates restaurant and daily operation.

· Ensures the cleanliness of the associates’ restaurant, counter area, stewarding area at all times. Coordination with Stewarding department.

·

· Ensures that all food stock arriving is checked thoroughly to ensure correct quantity and quality before taking delivery – responsibility of the catering company

· Keeps a daily tracking of food quantity, quality and matching the food menu

· Keeps a daily tracking of headcount in the cafeteria and monitors the contractors, ensures that eligible associates are dining in the cafeteria only

· Ensures the quality and quantity of food served – responsibility of the catering company

· Responsible for the efficient rostering of self only

· Responsible for the maintenance of hotel Rules and Regulations in the associates restaurant, and for ensuring all associates in the associates restaurant follow them

· Ensures that all associates – also outsources - understands and follow all hotel fire precautions and procedures

· Establishes and maintains effective associates’ relations

· Keeps a tracking of associate’s feedback

· Monitors all associates (outsourced company, Stewarding, Engineering) to ensure the highest possible efficiency is obtained, all maintenance issues and hazards are reported instantly

· Keeps a monthly tracking of breakage and stock of cutlery and table ware; coordinates with Stewarding and Purchasing for replacement

· Arranges in liaison with the outsourced company for a suitable menu with consideration for associates demands, National Days and other special occasions.

· Attends monthly meetings for food improvement in order to keep up satisfaction of our associates

· Records the feedback of associates; shares feedback at meetings

· Implements a cleaning schedule for all areas and equipment and monitors that it is strictly followed by outsourced company as well as stewarding in house

· Performs related duties and special projects as assigned especially during special occasions such as Ramadan and national days

· Demonstrate a knowledge of hazard identification, prevention and control

· Maintain accurate records of safety audits, analysing health and safety deficits in the environment and take necessary action to overcome problems and prevent and control risks

· Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development

· Working relationships with outsourced catering company, training of associates of outsourced company in terms of service etiquette and cleanliness

· Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including:

· Being attentive to associates

· Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude

· Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers

· Ensures that repair and maintenance is done promptly if required

· strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
