Description: CAFM & BMS Operator

Position
Overview

The CAFM & BMS Operator will be responsible for
operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Computer-Aided Facilities Management
(CAFM) and Building Management Systems (BMS) on a daily basis. The role ensures
smooth execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, adherence to safety
protocols, and timely reporting to support the facilities management team in
achieving operational excellence.

Key
Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the CAFM & BMS
systems to ensure accurate data logging and system performance.
Identify, log, and report any
abnormalities, discrepancies, or irregular readings in a timely manner.
Ensure all tasks are completed within
defined response times in alignment with priority levels, KPIs, and
SLAs.
Support the execution of Planned
Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to schedule and trade
requirements.
Prepare and submit accurate daily
reports to supervisors and department heads.
Immediately escalate and communicate
breakdowns or emergency issues to the supervisor.
Assist in coordinating with the
maintenance team during troubleshooting and rectification activities.
Adhere to all safety regulations and
procedures during maintenance and operations.
Ensure compliance with contract
management requirements, including documentation and reporting
standards.
Ensure the work orders for the PPM, reactive and inspections are
completed on the planned timeframe.
Ensure the AMC contracts are renewed and updated in the Fortes
Inspection Readiness.
Ensure the annual leave tracker for the staff is updated in the
Fortes Readiness.

Qualifications
& Experience

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical
Engineering or ITI certification in a relevant trade.
Strong working knowledge of CAFM
systems (e.g., Maximo, Facilio) and BMS platforms (e.g.,
Honeywell).
Familiarity with KPIs, SLAs, and
contract management processes.
Minimum 2–4 years of facilities
management experience, preferably in the Gulf region.
Proficiency in MS
Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong reporting
and documentation skills is a must.
Good communication skills, with the
ability to coordinate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and
stakeholders.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
