Minimum Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour
Job Summary: The Cage Cashier is responsible for distributing money to gaming customers by redeeming coins and gaming vouchers, as well as cashing checks and providing cash advances on credit/debit cards, while providing fast and courteous service to each customer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Greets all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner.

Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members.

Maintains knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.

Opens, maintains, safeguards and closes a bank during an assigned shift.
-
Makes change for customers in accordance with Casino Cage Policy.

Exchanges customer chips and gaming vouchers for cash in accordance with cage policy.

Cashes checks and provides cash advances on credit/debit cards in accordance with cage policy.

Adheres to appropriate Tribal, federal, state and local laws and Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) regulations as applicable.

Adheres to Cage policy and procedures

Attends all meetings as required.

Completes all required training satisfactorily.

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality at all times.

Works at other properties as needed.

Performs all other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.
System Access: Check Cashing Vendor, Slot Accounting System, Key Tracking System, Synkros, Kiosk Systems

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Must have basic math skills.

Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events, etc., as needed.

May be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if the minimum qualifications of the position can be met.

Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment is required.
-
Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
