Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking and decorating cakes with creativity, precision, and efficiency. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts according to bakery standards
• Apply Heavy cream, buttercream, piping designs, and finishing decorations
• Write messages and create custom designs for cake orders
• Assist with cake assembly including layers, fillings, and crumb coating
• Ensure cakes meet visual presentation and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work with the team to complete daily production and special orders on time

Requirements

• Previous cake decorating experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Skills

• Early morning availability required
• Experience with heavy cream, buttercream piping
• Ability to work with speed and consistency in a production environment

Schedule

• Morning shifts available
• Weekend availability preferred
