Job Purpose:

The Calibration Technician / Electronic Technician will be responsible for performing calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic and mechanical instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with international standards. The role supports quality assurance, production efficiency, and operational excellence across Falcon Group’s facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and functional testing of electronic, electrical, and mechanical instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, weighing, etc.) according to company and industry standards.
  • Maintain calibration schedules, records, and certificates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 or internal QA/QC requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electronic control systems, sensors, transducers, and other instrumentation.
  • Ensure all calibration tools and reference standards are traceable to national or international standards.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure all instruments are operating within specified tolerances.
  • Collaborate with the quality and production teams to resolve instrumentation issues that impact process performance or product quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe calibration environment in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Prepare and submit calibration reports, non-conformance reports, and improvement recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and improving calibration procedures and documentation systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in calibration, instrumentation, or electronic maintenance (preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or testing environments).
  • Working knowledge of calibration tools, reference standards, and metrology principles.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and calibration certificates.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
