Calico Team Member/ Clothing Buyer

We are hiring at both our downtown location and our new Calcio Kids location.

As a team member and buyer you will be responsible for overseeing the buying counter, evaluating items to purchase, and organization and management of inventory. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainable fashion, has a keen attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Tagging, sorting, and organization of merchandise
• Complete data entry and pricing of incoming merchandise.
• Sort and evaluate items for purchase and write up offers for buys.
• Maintain knowledge of current fashions, brands, and price points.
• Create and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Model and encourage top-notch customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and manage conflicts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Embraces secondhand fashion and is knowledgeable of clothing brands and trends
• Excellent organization skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
• Can delegate and multi-task to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Dependable and honest
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Prefers a high energy, fast-paced yet fun work environment
• Experience re-selling (depop, poshmark, ebay...)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Experience:

• buying & selling clothes on poshmark, grailed, depop etc: 1 year (Required)
