Call Center and Collection Agent

Requirements

  • Bilingual
  • Previous experience in call center
  • Knowledge about all procedures and regulations in mortgage banking industry.
  • Knowledge in digital platforms used in mortgage banking.
  • Excellent Interpersonal relationship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Will perform the following functions: calls for past due loans, foreclosures and bankruptcy (if applicable).
  • Ensure that you comply with the personnel department guidelines and the quality standards of Equity Mortgage Inc.
  • Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of Equity Mortgage Inc.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations applicable to a collection operation.
  • Prepare and present the required management reports established for the effective control of the operation.
  • It will ensure that the service quality standards are met to meet customer needs.
  • Keep the portfolio frequency rate below industry standards.
  • Maintain an aggressive “Loss Mitigation and Counseling” program.
  • It will comply with the service contracts of the different investors.
  • Ensure that customer inquiries and complaints are resolved within a reasonable time.
  • Any other task required by the company.

Work Conditions

  • Typical office conditions.
  • Ability to remain seated for long periods and in front of a computer.
  • Overtime may be required to fulfill tasks and / or goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
