Call Center Customer Service Agent (On-site in Innsbrook)

When a patient misses a doctor’s appointment because they have no ride, the consequences ripple outward — delayed diagnoses, worsening chronic conditions, avoidable hospitalizations. MediDrive was created to close that gap, one patient at a time.

MediDrive, LLC is a brand-new organization backed by caring individuals with over 35 years of transportation expertise and cutting-edge technology. Our leadership team brings deep healthcare industry knowledge, operational excellence, and innovative vision to transform non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).

The word is out! We hit the ground running less than a year ago and have already made great strides to revolutionize, refine, and enhance NEMT services for all. With success comes rapid growth. And boy, oh boy! We are not kidding! Our current staff is doing an amazing job with our existing contract. We believe strongly in cultivating good talent, so we strive to promote from within as much as possible. Now, to accommodate new contracts, we are expanding our call center in Glen Allen, VA, and nearly doubling our Call Center staff.

Our new Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) will continue the excellent track record we have by assisting the existing team and leadership to elevate current standards and take our company to the next level. If you are up for the challenge of being a CSR with a new and rapidly growing organization where you will be expected to have excellent attendance, a caring, curious nature, and stellar communication skills, then read on!

Requirements (Seriously, please don’t apply if you do not meet these requirements)

  • You have at least one (1) year of experience in a call center, customer service, healthcare, transportation, or similar role.
  • You have top-notch communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. (Trust us - You are definitely going to need this!)
  • You must be able to work on-site in our office each day you are scheduled. These are NOT REMOTE positions.
  • You are comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and documenting quickly.
  • You are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • You are reliable with good attendance and punctuality. (We take this very seriously! If you are not here and on time, everyone suffers, especially our members. And that’s a deal breaker for us!)

Who would you work with?

Our HR Director, Heather, would handle your onboarding and make sure you’re always paid correctly. She believes strongly in servant leadership and an open door, so she works side-by-side with the team every day. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the local restaurant scene. (Sushi is her jam!) She also loves performing arts, binge watching crime thrillers, and volunteering with local non-profits.

Our trainer, Timothy, will make sure you have all the knowledge and skills you need to slay your job! He started with the company in an Administrative Support role but quickly proved to us that training is his true calling, so he was promoted after only one week with the company. In his spare time, he’s a gymnastics dad to his daughter and has a secret passion for graphic design.

Our Assistant Call Center Manager, Kia, would be one of your supervisors. She was a 911 operator before becoming a MediDrive dispatcher. But, in less than a month, we knew she was meant for greater things. We are thrilled to have offered her the first leadership role of what we know will be an illustrious career in NEMT. In the meantime, we’ll just keep the snacks coming. The honey-barbeque chips are her favorite. In her spare time, she loves to read and is a little obsessed with unicorns (in a healthy way, of course!).

What work looks like:

Our office, located in the Glen Allen/Innsbrook area of Richmond, VA, is open from 7:30am to 8:30pm. We want the team to enjoy our work environment, so the break area is equipped with refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, drinks (including one of those bougie coffee makers), snacks, supplies, and utensils. There's also a pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard to make break time extra fun! Everything you may need to enjoy your break periods to their fullest! And if you're the outdoor type, there's a patio overlooking the lake where you can chill with the turtles.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
