Job Summary and Qualifications

Overall Description: The Call Center Supervisor is the primary point of contact for new and existing patients seeking to schedule appointments with our providers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise a team of 9 call center specialists to ensure productivity, quality, customer service, and compliance with policy requirements
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, respond to medical records requests, etc.
  • Provide direction to team members and serve as an internal subject-matter-expert to meet service level expectations
  • Implement and oversee the professional development of team to identify technical and training needs
  • Analyze tasks and work volumes to provide planning and recommendations on staffing, assignments, and different projects
  • Assist in creating, implementing, and updating standard operating procedures, performance improvement plans, and supporting special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with other department leaders and providers to ensure performance standards and expectations of the team are met
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new hires
  • Prepare annual performance evaluation and feedback/coaching year round to team

What Qualifications you will need:


EDUCATION:


  • Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants, and course-work in health care office management are preferred.


  • Additional appropriate experience as a Medical Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.


EXPERIENCE:


  • Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting is required. A minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience in a medical office, acute care or outpatient setting is required.


CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:


  • No license requirements
