Call center repersentative

We are seeking a temporary-to-hire customer-focused Call Center Representative to join a financial services company in Chicago. In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers regarding account inquiries, financial products, transactions, and general support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls daily (up to 80 calls per day) in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist customers with account inquiries, balance information, transactions, and product details
  • Provide clear explanations of financial products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues accurately and efficiently
  • Document all customer interactions in CRM systems according to company standards
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics

Performance Expectations

This is a metrics-driven role. Representatives will be measured on:

  • Availability (adherence to schedule and time on queue)
  • Quality assurance scores (call monitoring and compliance standards)
  • Call resolution time (efficiency and effectiveness in resolving customer inquiries)
Desired Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
* 1+ years of customer service experience (call center or financial services preferred)
* Bi-lingual Spanish is a huge plus
* Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
* Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
* Availability to work two Saturdays per month
