Located in the border city of Pharr, Texas, and established in 2008, RGV College was the vision of an educator and who has guided this institution’s growth into one of the most sought-after vocational schools in the Rio Grande Valley for its A+ grade level education.

RGV College exists on the principle that all individuals, regardless of race, age, previous education or economic background can take advantage of the benefits acquired through Vocational Education. Currently, we are looking to fill the position of Call Center Representative.

Function: The role of a Call Center Agent is to answer incoming calls from the general public to answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Provide accurate and complete information to customers' inquiries and concerns.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve first-call resolution.
  • Resolve customer issues by finding appropriate solutions and escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Meet performance targets, such as call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings, and quality assurance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and provide seamless service.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and coaching programs to improve performance and enhance skills.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies to ensure customer privacy and information security.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Some experience in a call center or customer service environment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
  • Good data entry and typing skills.
  • Strong active listening abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
