Job Overview

A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a leading HVAC contractor with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Call Centre Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our valued customers, you will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for excellent service. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a talent for organisation and a genuine desire to assist others. Responsibilities

 

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Address customer enquiries, provide information about our services, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch service appointments for our certified technicians.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer data and service records in our company database.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction after a service has been completed.
  • Liaise with the technical team to ensure seamless service delivery and communication.
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager when necessary.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Experience within the HVAC or a similar trade industry is desirable but not essential.
