The National Institute of Technology (NIT) invites applications from highly qualified candidates for full-time and part-time faculty positions at various academic ranks, including Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Lab Instructors.

As part of our expansion for 2026-2027 academic year, we seek to appoint faculty across all schools, as well as in the area of general education.

Qualifications:

  • Lecturer: Master’s (18 years) degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Assistant Professor: Doctoral degree from a recognized university with demonstrated potential for high-quality research, strong teaching skills in English, and effective communication abilities. Candidates with exceptional teaching and applied research experience may also be considered.
  • Senior Positions (Associate/Full Professor): Proven record of publications in high-impact international journals, ability to secure research funding, leadership in academic program development, and a commitment to teaching excellence.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working in diverse and multicultural settings.
  • Relevant industry and/or other professional work experience.

  • a brief research statement describing research interests (not applicable for lecturers).
  • a brief teaching statement highlighting teaching philosophy, approach, and experience; and
  • a detailed curriculum vitae, including publications (with journal rankings, where applicable), teaching and professional experience, and academic qualifications.
