Coastal Health is seeking a professional and patient-focused Call Center Representative to support our primary care offices. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience by providing accurate information, scheduling appointments, and directing calls appropriately. Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

Route calls to appropriate departments, providers, or staff

Provide general information about services, office locations, and policies

Verify patient information and update records in the system

Handle patient concerns and escalate issues when necessary

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Document call details accurately in the system
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous call center or healthcare experience preferred

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems efficiently

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling software

Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in the medical field preferred.
