Salary: **$26 - $35 USD per hour**

Responsibilities

 

  • Answer inbound telephone calls with a high degree of professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
  • Provide accurate and clear information regarding our hospice and palliative care services.
  • Listen attentively to the needs of callers, who may be in emotionally sensitive situations.
  • Direct enquiries and messages to the appropriate clinical staff, departments, or external partners.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with the utmost discretion.
  • Accurately document call details and relevant information in our internal systems.
  • Support the administrative team with general tasks as required.

Qualifications

 

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant programme of study.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear and compassionate telephone manner.
  • A profound sense of empathy and the ability to remain calm and professional during difficult conversations.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
