Precision Parts Start with Your Set-Up

We’re seeking a seasoned technician to independently configure and operate two Davenport cam-driven screw machines in a fast-moving, high-precision environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, adjust, and run two Davenport Screw Machines to meet exacting specs.
• Position and secure cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tooling at each station.
• Set tools in holders; establish optimal speeds and feeds.
• Cycle machines through settings; fine-tune timing, clearance, and chip removal.
• Inspect output continuously; correct deviations immediately.
• Perform routine maintenance and resolve issues to sustain peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and maintaining two machines.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and independence in a high-changeover setting.
• Comfort working in a high-pace, precision-focused shop.

Work Schedule

• Office: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday
• Shop: 10 hours/day, Monday–Thursday
• First Shift: 5:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Second Shift: 3:30 pm – 1:30 am
• Overtime opportunities available
