Camera / Lence Technician expert

• Perform inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of professional video and photography cameras, lenses, and related broadcast equipment.
• Handle calibration, alignment, and testing of lenses, sensors, and optical components to ensure top performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to camera bodies, lens mechanisms (zoom, focus, aperture), and audio-visual accessories.
• Maintain records of repairs, spare parts usage, and service history.
• Ensure proper cleaning, servicing, and preventive maintenance of all optical and electronic components.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure equipment is ready and reliable for shoots and live events.
• Provide technical advice on camera/lens selection, compatibility, and upgrades.
• Assist in inventory management of tools, spare parts, and service equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in camera, lens, and AV technology.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Camera/Lens Technician in a video, photography, or broadcasting environment.
• Strong knowledge of DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, and broadcast camera systems.
• Expertise in lens disassembly, optical alignment, calibration, and repair.
• Understanding of audio-visual equipment integration and troubleshooting.
• Good experience with diagnostic tools, firmware updates, and electronic testing equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in electronics / optics industry preferred.
