Camp Manager ( Experience of managing 20plus Camps + Arabic Speaker )

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Camp Manager who is fluent in Arabic and capable of overseeing multiple labour camps (approximately 30 camps) . The role carries full responsibility for camp operations, compliance, discipline, and workforce welfare , with all Camp Bosses reporting directly to the Camp Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Camp Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 30 labour camps , ensuring consistent standards across all locations
• Manage and supervise Camp Bosses , ensuring discipline, attendance control, and smooth operations
• Ensure camps are maintained as per UAE labour law, municipality, and Civil Defense standards
• Monitor accommodation conditions, housekeeping, catering, hygiene, and utilities

Compliance & Government Liaison

• Ensure full compliance with MOHRE, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other regulatory authorities
• Coordinate and attend government inspections , audits, and follow-ups
• Act as the primary liaison with authorities, requiring strong Arabic communication skills
• Ensure timely closure of observations and non-compliance issues

Workforce Welfare & Discipline

• Address worker grievances and welfare-related matters professionally
• Enforce camp rules, regulations, and code of conduct
• Handle incidents, disputes, and emergency situations effectively

Vendor & Facilities Management

• Manage vendors for catering, cleaning, security, maintenance, waste management, and transportation
• Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and contractual compliance
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance across all camps

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare and submit regular reports on camp occupancy, compliance status, inspections, and issues
• Coordinate with HR, HSE, Admin, and Operations teams
• Support manpower mobilization and demobilization as per project requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience as a Camp Manager / Camp Operations Manager in the UAE
• Proven experience managing multiple labour camps (20+ camps preferred)
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory (spoken; reading/writing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour camp regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis-handling skills
• Experience in construction or developer-led organizations preferred
