We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Admin to provide essential office support while performing occasional cashier duties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and can balance administrative responsibilities with light financial transactions.
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; respond to general inquiries via email or in person.
Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for easy retrieval of records.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Perform minor cashier duties, including:
Accepting payments (cash, check, or card)
Issuing receipts and balancing small cash drawers
Recording transactions accurately in the system
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoice tracking and petty cash reconciliation.
Support other departments with administrative projects as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in administrative support, food service, customer service, or cashiering is a plus, but not required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced campus dining environment
Good verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly approach when interacting with students, faculty, staff, and dining team members
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or willingness to learn dining and campus systems (POS, ordering platforms, etc.)
Comfortable handling basic cashiering duties, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate transaction records
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail, especially when handling cash and tracking invoices or petty cash
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to support both administrative and dining operations as needed
