This position is a 6 month contract role, with the possibility of becoming permanent

This is a hybrid in-office position based at our Boston HQ, with work from home on Fridays. You'll be in the office Monday through Thursday.

Salary Range: $30 - $35 hourly

Our recruiters are true business partners and charged with finding, attracting, and hiring top talent into entry level roles (co-op, intern and full-time) across all parts of the company against a high bar for performance, potential, and culture. The Campus Team is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for attracting top students and driving a best-in-class candidate hiring experience. As a Campus Recruiter, you will play a major role in hiring top early talent and managing Wayfair’s brand with schools and partners, showing prospective students how they can begin and grow their career with Wayfair. An ideal applicant possesses an exceptional communication style, has an operational mindset that enables them to excel in the high-volume recruiting arena, and is adaptable to thrive within an ever-changing role.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and measure unique engagement strategies across assigned schools by leveraging market knowledge of competitor trends to influence candidate decisions and track program success.
  • Manage and facilitate on-campus and virtual recruiting activities, including networking events, classroom visits, and presentations to attract a high caliber of applicants.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable business representative to answer candidate questions about all campus tracks at Wayfair.
  • Manage key relationships with external (university career services, student groups, academic leaders, and inclusion partners) and internal partners (Campus Ambassadors and business partners) to drive candidate engagement and hire top talent.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of our corporate summer internship, Early Leaders and co-op programs.
  • Collaborate with other campus recruiters to understand hiring priorities and efficiently move candidates through the interview process.
  • Work to improve existing processes and develop innovative approaches around converting early talent to roles at Wayfair.

What You'll Need

  • 1+ years of applicable experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Full-lifecycle recruiting expertise; specifically in campus, university, or high-volume settings.
  • Experience establishing relationships and promoting a compelling employment brand internally and externally.
  • Stakeholder management, with a focus on consultative skills, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to be self-directed with a high sense of urgency, balancing a high sense of urgency with effective teamwork.
  • Exceptional communication and organization, skilled at prioritizing in high-demand environments.
  • Tech-forward mindset, proficient in integrating generative AI (e.g., Gemini) to optimize recruiting.
  • Process-oriented and flexible mindset, driving workflow efficiencies while maintaining a premium candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair’s total compensation package for employees.
