Cannabis Delivery Dispatcher 21+

Job Summary

The Dispatcher coordinates and oversees cannabis delivery operations in compliance with California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations. This role ensures timely, secure, and lawful deliveries by serving as the primary communication link between delivery drivers, customers, and management while maintaining strict adherence to state and local cannabis laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and route licensed cannabis delivery drivers in compliance with California delivery regulations
• Monitor real-time driver locations and delivery status using approved tracking systems
• Ensure staff meal and rest breaks are taken, and documented in compliance with California labor laws and company policy
• Ensure all deliveries comply with DCC requirements, including vehicle tracking, delivery timeframes, and documentation
• Verify customer eligibility, delivery addresses, and order accuracy prior to dispatch
• Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues to customers professionally
• Ensure drivers carry proper documentation and valid identification at all times
• Coordinate delivery schedules and adjust routes as needed while maintaining compliance
• Receive and verify product intake, confirming purchase orders, counts and compliant packaging
• Accurately input new product into POS system
• Report compliance issues, incidents, or discrepancies to management immediately
• Assist with additional tasks given by management

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn cannabis delivery software
• Knowledge of La Habra, surrounding cities, and routing
• Must be 21 years of age or older (California cannabis industry requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior dispatch, logistics, or delivery coordination experience
• Experience working in the California cannabis industry
• Familiarity with METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking systems
• Customer service experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment

This position operates within a secure cannabis delivery facility and requires frequent interaction with staff and customers. Employees must maintain confidentiality, compliance, and professionalism at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
