Cannabis & Wellness Provider (NP) - Ogden

Empathetix Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to serve as a primary provider at our Ogden clinic.

This is a hands-on wellness role, where you will be actively delivering treatments, managing care plans, and working directly with patients across multiple services.

This is not an intake-only position. You will be responsible for providing care, not just initiating it.

Schedule:

Saturdays: 9AM-2PM
Optional additional shifts available for coverage at other clinic locations

Responsibilities:

Wellness Services (Primary Focus):

  • Administer treatments including ketamine (IM), hormone therapy, weight loss injections, and B12 shots
  • Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Review labs and adjust care as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care
  • Ensure all treatments are delivered safely and in compliance

Medical Cannabis:

  • Evaluate patients for eligibility and provide compliant recommendations
  • Educate patients on safe and effective use
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Expectations:

  • Act as a confident, independent provider delivering hands-on care
  • Make real-time clinical decisions based on patient needs
  • Build trust quickly and maintain strong patient relationships
  • Identify opportunities to support patients across multiple services
  • Operate efficiently in a high-volume clinic environment
  • Take ownership of patient outcomes, not just visits

Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Utah (unrestricted)
  • Utah QMP certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in a clinical, patient-facing role
  • Comfortable administering injections and treatments independently
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Preferred:

  • Experience with ketamine therapy
  • Background in hormone therapy, weight loss (GLP-1), or peptides
  • Experience reviewing labs and managing ongoing treatment plans
  • Experience in fast-paced or high-volume environments

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active NP license
  • QMP certification (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • Utah Controlled Substance License

Compensation:

Starting at $60/hour
Compensation is reviewed based on performance, efficiency, and clinical contribution

  • Confidence, efficiency, and strong clinical judgment are essential

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
