The Capability Engineer is responsible for:
- Establishing new product capability in LTME s production and ensure fulfillment of TOP
- Creating and continuous improvement of LTME s production processes
- Evaluating potential business cases for technical and economic feasibility
- Identifying and defining capability requirements in acc. with approved data and authority requirements
- Functional leading and coordinating project teams to obtain approvals for new capabilities
- Monitoring project progress and reporting results to management
- Attending approval audits to obtain authority approval
- Ensuring the communication flow within the project team and supporting departments
- Ensuring the coordination between LTME internal departments and external to LHT and third parties
Requirements
The ideal Capability Engineer should meet the following requirements:
- University degree (e.g. aerospace, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering)
- Min. 6 years of experience in aviation related MRO business
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Practical background and hands-on mentality
- High sense of accountability for assigned projects
- Project management skills
- Excellent knowledge of aviation authority regulation (e.g. EASA, GCAA, FAA)
- Good knowledge in business case analysis and feasibility studies
- Leadership skills including cooperative approach
- Persuasive power as well as assertiveness
- Experience in lean production and change management
- Good negotiation skills, ability to assert oneself and highly skilled team worker
- Ability to work under pressure and to take on responsibilities
- Good communication skills
- Business fluent in English, German language desirable
- Advanced computer knowledge (MS-Office, CAD)
