Capital Inventory Clerk (People and Internal Operations Department)

The Capital Inventory Clerk position is assigned to the Capital Inventory Unit within the Business Services Division of the People and Internal Operations Department. The incumbent in this role is responsible for assisting with the centralized management of all Miami-Dade County Assets in accordance with County Implementing Order 8-2. Other responsibilities for this position will be responding as a member of the division’s Emergency Operations Logistical Team during a disaster event and/or Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activation.

The People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) provides a wide range of internal support services for the ongoing operation of County government which focuses on promoting operational best practices and efficient government operations. PIOD provides various customer-based business services that include, but not limited to facility management, design and construction management, fleet management, risk management, surplus property disposition services, capital inventory management, and large-scale printing services. Through these various business lines, PIOD is engaged in real estate development and management, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, materials management, and parking services.
