Capital Project Audit - 2 Month

Müller's Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Capital Project Audit professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing capital projects to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial accuracy. You will evaluate project performance, identify risks, and recommend improvements to enhance project controls and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough audits of capital projects, including reviewing budgets, verifying expenses, and assessing compliance.
• Assess the efficiency of project controls, governance structures, and risk management processes.
• Detect potential financial, operational, and compliance risks in capital projects and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
• Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other relevant parties to resolve audit issues.
• Compile comprehensive audit reports and communicate the results to senior management.
• Oversee the implementation of audit recommendations and monitor corrective actions.
• Keep current with industry auditing standards and best practices related to capital projects.
• Governance, planning, and scheduling of projects
• Procurement processes, contract management, and cost control
• Monitoring execution and reporting project progress
• Testing, commissioning, and transferring project ownership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of auditing experience, ideally concentrating on capital projects or construction audits.
• In-depth understanding of auditing standards, financial controls, and project management concepts.
• Skilled in using various audit tools and software applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English, with experience in the Hajj and Umrah sectors.
• Comprehensive experience in auditing capital projects.
• Robust background in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledgeable about the regulatory requirements of the Ministry of Tourism and the Capital Market Authority (CMA).
