King County's Facilities Management Division (FMD) is seeking an experienced Capital Project Management professional to help deliver critical projects serving your community and King County partners. The Capital Project Manager III works with internal and external teams to prepare, manage and review a variety of high-visibility projects.
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) Career Service opportunity and two (2) Term-Limited Temporary opportunities. It may also be used to establish an eligibility list for vacancies within this classification within the next 6 months.

Facilities include, but are not limited to, King County Courthouse and District Courts, Maleng Regional Justice Center, King County Office Buildings Building, King County Animal Shelter, and several Public Health facilities.

The standard work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday between the operating hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The specific schedule may be determined by the successful candidate and the supervisor, and will consider business and operational needs.
The reporting location for this position will be the King County Chinook Building, 401 5th Ave., Seattle, WA 98104.
This position is hybrid with onsite reporting of at least 3 days per week.
This position is FLSA-Exempt and is not eligible for overtime.
This position is represented by PROTEC 17.
This position has been designated MISSION CRITICAL in an Emergency, which means that you perform functions which cannot be delayed in the event of an emergency. If an emergency occurs, report your status as instructed by your agency. If needed for work, you may be contacted and directed to provide assistance in another area of the agency or the County, consistent with your job classification and skills.
