As a Capital Projects Purchasing Specialist at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Switch is modernizing its core operations, and this role will lead the design, implementation, and testing of Oracle Fusion ERP. In the first year, you’ll focus on rolling out key modules that streamline processes and build the foundation for growth. Beyond implementation, you’ll shape how Switch uses ERP to drive innovation, efficiency, and smarter decisions.

Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Support the design, configuration, and rollout of Oracle Fusion SCM Procurement modules, collaborating with IT and functional teams to enhance purchasing workflows for capital projects.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for capital construction projects, from requisition through purchase order creation and receipt.
- Use Oracle Fusion PPM and SCM systems to manage project cost tracking, purchase requisitions, and supplier transactions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Finance teams to align purchasing activities with project budgets and timelines.
- Validate data integration between Procurement, PPM, and Accounting modules to ensure accuracy of project cost allocations.
- Solicit bids and proposals from qualified vendors; evaluate pricing, terms, and compliance.
- Support contract administration and coordinate with Legal and Compliance on vendor agreements.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and receiving status to ensure timely material availability.
- Assist in developing system test scripts, training materials, and user documentation for new Oracle SCM functionality.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and improve supplier performance.

- 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in construction, capital projects, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Procurement and PPM modules (or EBS equivalent).
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project cost control, and capital budgeting.
- Experience supporting ERP or SCM system implementations, testing, and user adoption.
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, and vendor sourcing practices for construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or Construction Management.
