We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Captain Waiter (Arabic Speaker) to oversee daily restaurant service operations and ensure excellent guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising waitstaff, assisting guests, coordinating with the kitchen team, and maintaining high service standards. Fluency in Arabic and English is required to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and service staff during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and high-quality service at all times.
- Welcome and assist guests with menu recommendations and special requests.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation.
- Train and guide junior waiters and new staff on service standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist in preparing duty rosters and shift schedules when required.
- Monitor inventory of service equipment and report shortages or damages.
- Support management in achieving customer satisfaction and operational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Captain Waiter, Head Waiter, or similar role in hospitality or restaurant operations.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance, and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pay: QAR1,850.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
