Starting Salary: SAR 2,500 + F.A.T.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Captain Waiter to deliver exceptional tableside service and lead service teams at our distinguished luxury café in Riyadh. This role exemplifies refined hospitality through expert service execution, comprehensive product knowledge, and mentorship of junior service staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver flawless luxury service to assigned tables and stations, demonstrating advanced service techniques including proper presentation, course timing, tableside preparations, and refined guest interaction protocols.
• Provide expert guidance on menu selections, offering detailed descriptions of dishes, beverages, and specialties with confidence and knowledge, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary considerations.
• Execute all aspects of fine dining service with precision and grace, including proper serving and clearing techniques, beverage service, table maintenance, and ensuring an impeccable dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Build rapport with guests through warm, professional engagement, reading preferences and needs to provide anticipatory service that exceeds expectations and creates memorable luxury experiences.
• Manage guest interactions with poise and attentiveness, addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring every detail of the dining experience reflects the establishment's commitment to excellence.
• Handle service-related concerns at the table level with discretion and professionalism, resolving minor issues independently and communicating guest feedback to supervisors to maintain satisfaction.
• Lead and coordinate service staff within assigned stations, including waiters, commis waiters, and runners, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring synchronized, seamless service delivery.
• Train and mentor junior service team members in luxury service standards, proper techniques, product knowledge, and professional conduct, serving as a role model for service excellence.
• Support team coordination during service by communicating clearly with colleagues, assisting with challenging situations, and maintaining a collaborative environment that elevates overall performance.
• Ensure assigned stations are prepared to luxury standards before service, including table settings, mise en place, service equipment, and ambiance elements, conducting thorough checks for quality and completeness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional service experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or high-end establishments, with demonstrated mastery of advanced service techniques and comprehensive food and beverage knowledge.
• Fluent English communication skills required; proficiency in Arabic highly valued for engaging with local and regional guests in Riyadh's premium dining market.
• Polished presentation, refined interpersonal skills, and exceptional attention to detail essential. Must demonstrate maturity, reliability, passion for hospitality, and ability to maintain composure and grace under pressure during busy service periods.
