Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled and dynamic Captain Waitress to lead our restaurant service team. This role combines staff supervision, daily service management, and a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences in all food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with warmth to set a positive tone for their visit
- Supervise, guide, and assist waitstaff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Take and communicate accurate orders to kitchen and bar teams
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage presentation
- Resolve guest requests and complaints with professionalism
- Monitor guest satisfaction and follow up as needed
- Ensure dining areas remain clean and properly arranged
- Coach and train new team members, fostering collaboration
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and management to streamline service
- Manage billing and process payments reliably
- Complete shift closing tasks, including stock and cash checks
- Enforce hygiene, food safety, and company policies
- Participate in ongoing staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage settings preferred
- Broad knowledge of menu offerings and service standards
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts
