Captain Waitress

Are you passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences?
We are looking for a smart, energetic, and customer-focused Captain Waitress to join our growing hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service Excellence: Greet guests, present menus, make recommendations, and handle special requests or complaints professionally.
  • Service Supervision: Supervise a designated station (roughly 15–25 guests) to ensure service teams adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Order Management: Take detailed food and beverage orders, relaying them accurately to the kitchen/bar, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and guide junior servers and bussers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Operational Setup: Ensure the restaurant station is properly stocked, cleaned, and set up prior to service.
  • Sales Maximization: Actively use upselling techniques to increase revenue and enhance guest experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a, high-end, or resort environment is typically required.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of menu items, food preparation, and wine pairings.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead a team and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for long periods.
