Car Keys QA Senior Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for candidates who has had experience testing to meet Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC CarKey) specs (which includes end-to-end interoperability between mobile and various car head-units using 3rd party tools (such as Comparion, Keysight etc...)
Must-haves
- 2+ years of experience testing consumer electronics
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience with functional and end-to-end user level testing
- Experience filing bugs/issues using bug tracker tools
- Experience championing the customer experience
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate complex issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to describe and document clearly
- Meticulous attention to detail to identify quality issues
- Comfort with fast-paced environments, and tight schedules
Preferred
- Experience with NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, UWB protocol and test tools
- Experience with in-vehicle infotainment systems/CarPlay/Car Keys
- Experience with technology-based compliance programs / standards
- Enhanced reporting skills
- Design and implement automation solutions
Timezone
- San Diego location and expected to work in office and lab - 5 days a week

Success Criteria/Definition of Done
- Regression testing and validation done within defined variable time frames
- HU interoperability testing completed within defined variable time frames
- All defect reports, are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc. as required.
- All lab tasks are performed in a timely manner.
- Communication internally and externally is clear, effective and timely.
- Test plans clarifications are identified and modified as required.
Location : San Diego, CA
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 a year
